Ghatanothoa by Roberts-The-Vile Ghatanothoa by Roberts-The-Vile
The nightmare god deep within Forbidden Yaddith-Gho. This Great Old One originally appears in the short-story "Out of the Aeons" by HP Lovecraft and Hazel Heald.

Wonderful artwork! It almost appears to undulate and writhe as you look at it. I understand that Lovecraft basically rewrote everything that Hazel sent to him, what a shame that he had to turn to ghost-writing for survival.

Beautiful! Although I wish there were Octopus-Eyes and Elephant Trunks like in the original (horrifying) description, though. ^_^;

I liked the tentacles, looking like squirming worms, they look really mushy and fleshy. It was my pleasure to fave :)

Beautiful painting, Jason!! I love the surreal dreamlike feel to it- the lighting on the monoliths, and the way the mass of organic ghost-creature is so undefinable in that truly 'ever-changing, indescribable' HPL way.
